Picture-less Post #7: Letter to the Philippine Government

To those who passed the cyberlaw bill:

There are pending bills that are of much importance to be passed and implemented. It was for a cause but you used it for your own good. (Yes, there should be laws preventing cyberbullying, cyberpornography, dientity theft etc…)

I’m a common Filipino mother that strives for her family. With this latest bill, I feel violated. I know I won’t be affected directly but its existence made me feel that my government thinks that its citizen are ignorant- that we don’t value our freedom. We all know that you are using your authority. Many things have been said and done, just so you know: We will all go on with our lives, as typical Filipinos, and yes you are powerful but you are not respected.

And life a way to turn things around.
