7,107 islands’ gratitude to the world

It is all over the news, the tragedy my country is enduring. Stories of loss, survival and hope are shared with the destruction caused by the Super Typhoon Haiyan.

With all this, the help we are receiving is overwhelming, from international agencies, local and private sectors, celebrities, to individuals. First hand, I saw that “bayanihan” is still alive and is in our nature.

I am a mere Filipino citizen who is grateful for all these. One can only do so much, but can definitely make a difference. I have friends and families who are donating and volunteering, they are inspirations.

In behalf of all the Filipinos, thank you for the help, support and prayers.

This is not the last disaster that we will face but this is an eye-opener, a life changer.

Thank you.

Let’s keep on praying that no such thing will happen again.

As always, let’s learn and keep paying it forward.

If you want to continually share your blessings, please donate or volunteer.
